Booking Discount Vacations and Hassle-Free Trips Through Travel Agents

Planning a trip for your small business can be tedious, not to mention time-consuming. Remember, time is money, and if you waste time aimlessly browsing through travel blogs and travel sites online, that is money lost. Save yourself from the mind-numbing ways of comparing rates from one hotel to by coursing your travel bookings through a travel agent. If you still need more assurance, here are four ways that enlisting the service of a travel agent is a foolproof way to help you arrive at the most productive and cost-efficient ways to book trips for your business.

1. Do not overthink the fee. The principle here is simple-the cost it will incur to hire a professional is almost always less than how much it will cost if you’ll book your trips on your own. Travel agents can usually get you corporate discounts, no matter how many people are traveling for that particular trip. They are well informed about the discount vacation programs that different airlines, hotels, or even car-rental services offer.

You must also remember that travel agents have already established relationships with these companies, and are most likely enjoying personal discounts that they can gladly extend to you to further reduce the cost of your travel.

2. The web has everything to offer, but sometimes, that’s exactly the problem. Have you ever tried typing in “company trip to Thailand” and end up with sixteen million or so results? With the agenda of the trip itself already on your plate, the overwhelming task of weeding out useless and scam-like results is the last thing you need. You don’t have to go through all this when you have a travel agent in the picture.

Whether you’re looking for the cheapest rates, or trips that will allow you to book at the eleventh hour, your travel agent can easily whip up options for you. You can even simply tell them your preferences, and it will be up to them to tailor-fit a travel plan that meets your specifications.

3. Incentives, incentives, incentives. You’ll be surprised by the amount of incentives you can get by booking your trips through a travel agent. We’re not even talking about vacation discounts alone-we’ve covered that already with the first point. When we say incentives, this could be something small, like free dinner on your first night, or something as big as an upgrade in your flight from economy to business class on your next booking. It is somewhat similar to having access to a pile of coupons, thanks to your travel agent.

Always remember that travel agencies want to build relationships with as much as they want to with suppliers, so they could keep you coming back. So whether this can be done by giving you upfront perks or incentives that you can only avail when you course your next trip through them, these are still items and services that you get on top of what you paid for. At the end of the day, it is still about business, and we all know that loyal patrons always translate to revenue.

4. Travel emergencies can be solved in a jiffy. Inevitable things can happen during your trip-this includes bad weather, missing passports, vacations that are suddenly cut short, and what not. There is also that unimaginable nightmare of having one of your employees missing. These occasions can easily turn into a fiasco especially when you’re overseas, but that’s not always the case when you have a trusty travel agent to solve this for you.

Travel agents are easily available when you need to rebook your flights in such short notice. Do-it-yourself online booking sites rarely offer this service, and you know full well what happens when you don’t rebook your flights on time. Yes, you shell out extra money.

Booking your trips online can work for you if you’re the hands-on type, but it is always a good idea to consider the value that will be added by enlisting the help of a travel agent. This value is not just limited to tapping into discount vacations, but also finding a safe and hassle-free way to plan your travels.

Why You Should Travel by Train for an Unforgettable Vacation?

Travelling by train is becoming the new favorite method of travel for people who like to do so in style and comfort. Many people consider travelling by air to be the most luxurious and efficient way to travel, but the fact is that today, travelling by train offers its patrons a level of comfort and economy which no other form of travel can match. For people, who are travelling but are not bound by the constraint of time, travelling by train is the best possible way to travel in comfort while spending only a fraction of the cost required by airlines for the same. The distinct advantage which travelling by train offers is also the number of amenities available. Today, a lot of trains offer travelers a whole host of luxury amenities which can often make it seem as if they are travelling to their destination in a hotel room.

Travelling by train is a great option for all those people who want to go on a vacation for a number of reasons. Cars only have a limited carrying capacity when it comes to passengers and/or luggage. There are also concerns regarding rising fuel costs, the fear of road accidents and the inconvenience of getting stuck in traffic.

Travelling by train, on the other hand, offers virtually no such limitations. The number of people who wish to travel together by train is limited only by the number of tickets which they are willing to pay for. Trains give vacationers the opportunity to travel in comfort, with seating options varying from relaxing seats for short journeys to berths which allow travelers to rest and even private air conditioned cabins where they can enjoy the full luxury treatment with catering and housekeeping services, as well as complete privacy, something which cannot be assured while travelling by road. Most trains run as per a strict schedule and are not subject to issues, like traffic jams.

Airlines only operate between specific destinations, with prices often beyond the reach of the common traveler.

This is further exacerbated by the fact that most airlines often introduce a sharp raise in their prices as the date of travel approaches, making it a very expensive affair overall. Trains, however, are one of the safest and most economical methods of mass transit which allow vacationers the opportunity to not only see the vast panorama of changing scenery outside their window, but to also step out or open a window should the need arise.

This, combined with the fares being a percentage of what travelers would have to pay, as well as a great deal of flexibility regarding the amount of luggage they can take, makes train travel the best choice to make. Tickets can be comfortably booked online, as almost every train service is represented online. It allows patrons to finalize all the details of their travel, from the type of seat to meal choice, as well as make the payments from the comfortable environs of their own home, thus making travelling by train a highly preferred option for an unforgettable vacation.

Myhappyjourney.com provides a huge collection of destinations with detailed information of each. The team of My Happy Journey is working on every aspect to make the overall vacation unforgettable. The packages offered include accommodation, food, travelling and activities you can participate in. This allows the travelers to enjoy their tour to the fullest without worrying about the arrangements. The team of My Happy Journey leaves no stone upturned to make your tour a memorable one.

Writing Travel Articles – A Case Study

Writing Travel Articles That Get Published

To write a successful travel article that has a good chance of being published you need to do a number of things over and above writing the piece. You must above all else consider how the angles you take with it may be affected by the publications to which you’d like to pitch it, and who their target market may be.

The Travel Article Concept

Here is my idea for an 800-1500 word travel feature

I propose an 800 – 1500 word feature article on extension destinations when traveling to Bali. An ‘advice feature’ defining various add-on locations to a holiday in Bali. Destinations would include Lombok Island, Nusa Lembongan Island and The Gilis Islands group.

For each destination, discuss – is this a day-trip or extended stay? What does the location offer travelers – activities, accommodation types, dining options, transport options, spa and wellness facilities? What are the specific points of interest for each location? Look at Fishing, diving & snorkeling, nature parks, eco-excursions, water-sports etc for each island option.

Discuss cultural aspects of the destinations and briefly address any items of historical significance. Briefly address the ecological aspects of the various islands – the impact of tourism. Advise on getting to each destination – options available by sea or air, costs and time frames for travel.

Sidebars and breakout-boxes for the article would include:

  1. Best accommodation options in budget, medium and luxury categories for each destination.
  2. Tours and activities available at each location.
  3. Dining and nightlife activities for each destination.

The Purpose

Travel articles fulfil two main purposes. The first one is that they provide useful and practical information to the reader. People read travel articles because they want to know whether they should visit a destination.

The main questions (amongst hundreds) they want answered are: Why should I go there? What are the attractions; nature, shopping, sports, culture, etc? How do I get there? What are the people like? Where should I stay? When should I go? How much is it going to cost me?

No matter where the destination – whether it’s one hour’s drive from where you live, or across the other side of the globe – all of these questions can and should be answered in a travel article about that destination.

Writing Travel Articles – The Angle

Bali is a great destination for people who are looking for a n exotic and tropical getaway. The best angle and audience for this story would be to target it a group of people with special interests, such as couples, retirees or families, etc. as you have done.

Carefully consider the publications you will target for your article – when you are targeting an audience, you should always think about people who know nothing of the subject.

Help The Reader Escape

The second purpose of a travel article is to help people ‘escape’ to the destination you are writing about. Quite often, people who have no intention of going anywhere read travel writing purely for the purpose of being transported somewhere for ten minutes. Great travel writing should take the reader somewhere just for the cover price of the newspaper or magazine.

This means that the most important aspect of your writing in a travel article is to ‘show’ the reader what they could expect.

What Can The Reader Expect

It’s important when to describe everything about what it is like to travel to Bali, visit the different parts of the island, swim at the beaches, go diving, tour the countryside, visit the nature parks, visit the historical attractions of the areas, shop in the markets, stay in the resorts, visit the spas, eat in the cafes and restaurants, stay in the accommodation, meet the locals, do the things and see the attractions that make the destination unique – the sights, sounds, smells, etc.

If your writing contains these descriptions and plenty of useful information for the prospective traveller then, when combined with quality photographs, your travel feature will come alive, and be a very attractive purchase for an editor.

Here is what I think will make good photographic illustrations

Photos for the article would primarily illustrate the scenic aesthetics of each destination – beaches, coral reefs etc. Other photos might include – accommodation, activities and tours (water-sports, diving etc), local people, cultural images and dining (food).

I don’t believe this article would necessarily have any more interest to a publication with specialised readership. In saying that, there is potential interest for specialized publications addressing features on island-style travel, Asian holiday destinations, or regional destinations for Australian travelers. I believe the article would have general interest and not be categorised as regional interest only.

How to Start Your Own Travel Agency From Home

If you are interested in building a career in the travel industry and become a home based travel agent, starting a home based customer service might just be the optimal solution. Your new business could focus on guiding your customers through the best travel agencies selection process, or you could simply make money by doing the research yourself and book their reservations. There are also several available possibilities related to the way you will organize and carry your business. You could choose between booking and whipping into shape all kinds of travel for your customers or develop yourself in a specific niche. Regardless of which way you decide to develop your business, you will have the possibility to make a living and help other people to enjoy their travelling endeavors at the same time.

Here are some guiding tips on how to start your own travel agency from home:

1. Before starting your own travel business, try to get some specific training. Taking a travel agent course will help you get acquainted with reservation software, types of booking and all the legal information about operating a travel agency.

2. There are several options you can choose from: you can become an independent travel agent and build your agency from scratches, work as a referral agent or agree to work for a host agency. If you decide to work as a referral agent, you will become the link between the customer and the travel agency; you will work on commission and receive a referral fee for each new client you bring to the agency. Working with a host agency implies that you will be using exclusively the host agency’s connections for booking reservations for your customers. You will be working on commission and get paid for each new client who makes a booking. In exchange, if you decide to start your own travel agency, keep in mind that you will have to build up your own contacts list and negotiate your fees.

3. Evaluate which option suits you best: focus on a niche or promote all types of travel. Focusing on a specific niche, such as luxury cruises or romance travel, can sometimes be beneficial as it makes it easier for you to focus on specific customer needs and expectations. This strategy can also narrow the competitive range.

4. If you decide to start either an independent home based travel business or become a referral agent, you have to get in touch with other travel agencies and negotiate your contracts that must include your referral fees and commissions per booking.

5. If you are seeking the protection of an already deep-rooted agency, signing a contract with a host agency is probably the best option for you. You will rely on the host agency’s connections to do your booking. In such cases, your commissions from the provided agency will be split with the host company.

6. Despite the fact that not all travel companies require a CRS, if you decide to go solo and start an independent agency, it might be convenient for you to purchase a computer reservation system. This way you will have the possibility to work directly with travel service suppliers and make different types of reservations.

7. Create a business outline and make sure to take into consideration variables such as start-up expenses and possibilities to finance your business. Don’t forget to plan some strategy for finding new clients and keep your agency functioning until you actually start making a profit out of it.

8. Make sure you contact specialized agencies to provide you with all the necessary information about licenses and permits. Then you can go for starting a travel agency from home.

9. Become a member of the National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents and other similar travel associations. Being a member of these associations will not only improve your image as a home based travel agent, but it might also provide you with new training opportunities and new customers.

10. Make sure you create an adequate home-based working space and buy all the necessary equipment: a computer, a printer, a fax machine and a telephone.

Exploring the Nexus of Travel and Technology – Types and Components of Travel Software

How can different types of travel businesses create specializations by choosing the right components of technology?

The internet is rife with advice on why you should digitize your business. It is assumed that software is ubiquitous in today’s business world. However, for the fence-sitters who are yet to digitize their business, what is it that you need to know about travel technology and travel software that will assist you to make a well informed choice of continuing without technology or leveraging technology?

The first step is to understand the types of Travel Software that are being used, and by whom?

Injecting technology components into the basic technology platform or travel agency booking engine can give your agency the ability to create unique specializations.

How can different types of travel businesses create specializations by choosing the right components of technology?
Here’s how…

If you are an OTA or a Self-Service Booking provider, you will typically use an online B2C Portal or travel agency booking engine with the following basic components:

What should be your key differentiators while selecting your travel agency booking engine?

  1. Platform’s ability to quickly search the most relevant content
  2. Ability to window dress – launch offers and deals quickly and monetize them
  3. Automated management of multiple supplier contracts, policies, clauses, etc.
  4. A highly sophisticated BI (Business Intelligence) & Analytics system to understand your consumer behavior and market trends
  5. A robust CRM system and
  6. A good marketing/lead management portal

A Tour Operator essentially requires a B2C Portal or a tour operator booking engine and can also choose to take a B2B route, but your technology potion is little different from the OTA mix, you need a package builder.

What should be your major differentiators?

  1. A package builder that should enable your tour operator booking engine to manage package durations, categories and blackout dates
  2. A feedback and request based flow that will give your customers the option of negotiating and customizing tour itineraries
  3. Rates, offers and discounts management system
  4. Customer Relationship Management System and
  5. Most importantly, every enquiry counts – Workflow systems that let you track, how efficiently your business caters to customers who show interest

BI & analytics is important. However, you don’t need such heavy-duty systems used by OTAs.

If you are a DMC, you need a platform or travel software for DMCs that help you distribute your inventory to agencies across diverse markets and at the same time, helps you manage ground and last mile operations.

What should be your Key differentiators while short listing travel software for a DMC?

  1. Global distribution – Ability to create multi-market distribution networks
  2. Multi-lingual & Multi-currency booking support
  3. Capture all information pertaining to last mile operations
  4. Strong auto cancellation and cash flow management

You can literally, do without a BI system, and rely on your networking and online trend research abilities.

If you are a Consortia or a Host Agency, it is important for you to find the best travel consortia software to build your ecosystem of affiliates and agents, and help them establish their own brands.

What should be your Key differentiators while choosing the right travel consortia software?

  1. Strong supplier management capability to distribute benefits to each member agency
  2. Technology for quick onboarding of affiliate and member agencies for host agencies
  3. MIS and reporting – Closely monitor performance across affiliates and suppliers
  4. Making members grow: Easily enable members to create their own brand identity
  5. Inbuilt communication tools – member motivation and retention

As a Consolidator, the accuracy and competitiveness of your inventory, decide your success. Your consolidator travel software needs to go the extra mile to ensure that your content is accurate and aggregated from diverse sources. We live in the world of electronic distribution so having a highly preferment API that agencies can consume is a must.

What should be your Key Differentiators while selecting your consolidator travel software?

  1. Accuracy of the content – Automated content aggregation and standardization
  2. The Richness of your inventory – Multi-source inventory aggregation
  3. Preformatted APIs that other agencies can consume

If you are a Niche Travel Agency (MICE or Specialized travel service provider) the type of niche travel agency software that you should be using is:-

What are your Key differentiators that need to be kept in mind while selecting your niche travel agency software?

  1. Your own contracted and negotiated inventory of specials – themes, travel products, merchandise, etc.
  2. The ability to create a unique experience from booking to fulfillment
  3. Inventory management tools to store and manage special inventory
  4. Creating Offer pages and promotions

I hope you found the above information useful; this is a brief guide to help you find your way around the often complex and fragmented domain of travel technology.

Massage in Bucharest

Recognize it! You’re busy! And so must be! That’s what life is like! But you want more than that, you want to do more for yourself and massage can help. Because massage makes more than a simple relaxation of the mind and body. It keeps your body in shape and gives you enough energy to make you enjoy a longer life better than you do it today.

Massage releases stress. At the moment, stress is a universal evil. Every time you are late, every time you avoid a car in traffic, every time you have trouble working, stress is doing his job. Each time adrenaline increases heart rate and cortisone levels and organs respond to the measure. You will be in a state of nerves and constant agitation.
When there is no release of stress, serious problems such as an upset stomach, hypertension, sleep disturbances, chest pain, or existing illness may worsen.

Some of the changes that may occur are: Anxiety, lack of concentration, depression, permanent fatigue, muscle or bone pain, sexual dysfunction, excessive sleep or insomnia

All these stress-related problems can be diminished and some can be totally eliminated by massage. The researchers concluded that a massage session can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relax your muscles and increase endorphin production. The massage also releases serotonin and dopamine and the result is a general relaxation, both physical and mental.
Our body care must be at the top of the priorities.
By adding the massage to your routine you will look much better and you will be much healthier and relaxed. Massage can improve your vitality and mood. Massage can prepare for a long and beautiful life.

Our masseuses personalize each massage session according to the needs of the individual.
Our massage parlors offer a variety of relaxation styles and techniques to help you. Apart from relaxing, massage can be a powerful ally in reducing pain, increasing energy levels, improving mental and physical performance

We recommend : HotAngels , VipZone , JadePalace , ThaiPassion

After a massage session, you will see how the mental prospects are enriched, the body allows easier handling, better pressure resistance, relaxation and mental alertness, calm and creative thinking.
When you have the impression or force yourself to stay straight, your body is not actually aligned properly. Not only does the posture look bad, but it forces some of the muscles to go muddy all day, while others become weaker. After a long time, the incorrect position may cause other drops. For example, internal organs press on what affects digestion, breathing ability is also diminished, which means that much less blood and oxygen reaches the brain and hence all sorts of other complications.

Massage allows you to return your body to the track. Allowing the body to make healthy and accurate movements is one of the greatest benefits of massage. Massage can relax and restore muscles injured by bad posture, allowing the body to position itself in a natural, painless position.
Apart from posture, there is also anxiety. One of the signs of anxiety and stress can also be heavy breathing. When the body begins to breathe too little and deeply instead of breathing at a natural rithm, it is impossible for one to relax. One reason may also be that the chest muscles and the abdomen get tightened and the air gets harder.

Massage plays an important role in learning the body how to relax and how to improve breathing. Respiratory problems such as allergies, sinuses, asthma or bronchitis are a group of conditions that can benefit from massage. In fact, massage can have a positive impact on respiratory function.

Many of the muscles in the front and back of the upper part of the body are breathing accessory. When these muscles are tight and shorten they can block normal breathing and interrupt effective breathing natural rithm. Massage techniques for stretching and relaxing these muscles improves breathing function and breathability. Massage leads to an opening of the chest as well as structural alignment and nerve dilatation that are required for optimal pulmonary function. A good way to treat respiratory problems with massage is the taping made in Swedish massage. When done on the back, along with vibrations, it can detach the mucus from the lungs and can clean the airways for better later function.

Massage not only relaxes muscles, but helps people become aware of daily stress levels. Once the body recognizes what really means relaxation, the mind can rest easily relax before the stress becomes cornice and harmful. This will help you enjoy a balanced life. Massage controls breathing, allows the mind to re-create relaxation before the occurrence of chronic and harmful stress and increases the level of energy.
