Monaco Hotel Guide

Rent a great Nice apartment.

Staying in a Monaco hotel is never going to be cheap. Though being right in the heart of the action is fantastic. In our opinion these are the pick of the principality's hotels.

Hotel de Paris. On Place du Casino. Once frequented by Winston Churchill, royalty and movie stars, this grand Monaco hotel first opened its doors in1865. The rooms are opulent and splendid. The views across the harbour and to the Palace are fantastic. One restaurant frequently wins 3 Michelin stars the other a mere one! Can't afford to stay here - soak up the atmosphere in the bar.

Hotel Hermitage. On Square Beaumarchais. More understated elegance than the Hotel de Paris. This famous hotel is near to the Monte Carlo Casino and the spa. Once again wonderful views. The rooftop restaurant is excellent.

Fairmont Monte Carlo. The fantastic rooftop pool of this large hotel in Monaco (over 600 rooms) offers great views. In particular, this hotel provides a great vantage point for one of the critical hairpin turns of the Monaco Grand Prix. It is a family friendly hotel with a very good fitness centre.

Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo. Avenue de la Madone. Recently modernised and styled with plenty of modern flair: the contemporary touches blend beautifully with pure luxury. The restaurant continues the take of modern twists on a classic theme. The spa is wonderful and the swim-up bar a whole bunch of fun.

Monte Carlo Beach Hotel. Ave Princess Grace. A wonderfully restored 1920s gem. This smaller hotel is intimate and sophisticated. There is a private beach and moorings plus an Olympic sized swimming pool. The in house ice cream parlour is well worth a stop!
