Glamorous Nice skiing resort of Auron is one of the top resorts within a short ride of Nice city centre. Located right by the Mercantour National Park, Auron is the most extensive ski resort in the Alpes-Maritimes.Auron is a genuine mountain village and manages to maintain this feel (it's fair to say other more modern ski resorts miss out on this charm!).
